R.J. Hill Consulting Scholarship

ATTENTION Tennessee High School Seniors and currently enrolled engineering students:  Almost half the school year is over and if you intend to apply for our scholarship, please remember that you have to write an essay and get your transcripts together before applying.  The deadline for applying is March 31, 2018.  You have a little more than three months before submissions are due.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.  Our contact information is on our website locate at http://www.rjhill.com.  The instructions are also on our website under “Scholarship Awards and Instructions” on the toolbar.

ATTENTION Tennessee High School Seniors and Current Engineering Students

It’s not too early to start thinking about scholarships for your college education.  R.J. Hill Consulting is continuing to offer a $500 scholarship to any Tennessee high school student interested in pursuing a career in engineering.  This scholarship is also available to any currently enrolled engineering student in a Tennessee public university.  The application instructions are available on our website.  Go to www.rjhill.com then click on “Scholarship Awards and Instructions”.  Scroll down below the scholarship announcement and you will find the instructions listed.  The deadline for application is March 31, 2018.  Although this date seems far in the future, time will pass quickly.  So, be mindful of the time needed to write the required essay.  Good Luck

Scholarship Applications now Open

Applications for the 2018 R.J. Hill Consulting scholarship is now open.  We will be accepting applications from now until March 31, 2018.  The scholarship is intended for award to Tennessee high school students or engineering students already enrolled in an engineering curriculum at a Tennessee public university.  The instructions for application are available on our website.  Go to “Scholarship Awards and Instructions” then click on “Tennessee Students”.  For answers to questions, please call 615-223-7736 or email rjhill@rjhill.com.

2017 Scholarship Award Winners

We are proud to announce that Yancey Stewart and Jaquelin Villafuerte have each been chosen to receive the R.J. Hill Consulting scholarship awards for 2017.  Yancey is a senior at Central Magnet school in Murfreesboro Tennessee and is the son of Bill and Andrea Stewart.  Yancey plans to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville beginning in the Fall of 2017.  While at the UT, Yancey plans to major in mechanical engineering and use his education to aid in the fight against cancer.

Jaquelin Villafuerte is a senior at Smyrna High School in Smyrna Tennessee.  Jaquelin is also the daughter of Alain and Maria Villafuerte.  Jaquelin plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and major in mechatronics engineering.  Jaquelin plans to use her education in various applications such as computers, communications, and systems.

Scholarship Instructions

Scholarship application instructions for the 2017 university academic year are now available on the Scholarship page of our website.  This year we are again offering two scholarships, one for Tennessee students desiring to attend a Tennessee public university and one for students from El Paso High School desiring to attend the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).  Please go to Scholarship Awards and Instructions in the toolbar and click on the appropriate set of instructions.

Scholarship Awarded to Aaron Schneider

This year we have awarded our $500 scholarship to Mr. Aaron Schneider of Murfreesboro Tennessee. Aaron is a 2016 honors graduate of Central Magnet School.  While at Central, Aaron excelled in honors courses like Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Biology and Computers.  Aaron will be attending the University of Tennessee Knoxville in the fall of 2016 and major in Mechanical Engineering.  Lastly, Aaron’s interests are in the aerospace industry, specifically in jet engine design, navigational systems, and space travel.  Congratulations and best of luck at UT.
